Multiple Teams · Tri-West High School Welcomes New Varsity Head Cross Country Coach

Lizton, Ind. (July 30, 2020) — Tri-West High School would like to announce the hiring of Mr. Friederich Rademacher as the new Head Varsity Cross Country Coach. Mr. Rademacher.

Mr. Rademacher is a 1997 graduate of Auburn University Auburn, AL with a B.A. in Mass Communication and a Business Minor focusing on finance, accounting, mathematics, business ethics, humanities, chemistry and geology.

As a high school athlete at Ben Davis High School, Mr. Rademacher led the cross country team to a 1st place finish at the IHSAA State Cross Country Championship in the fall of 1990. Mr. Rademacher finished his high school career with one team state championship and three individual state runner-up titles (two at 3200 meters in track and one for cross-country). Mr. Rademacher continued his running career at Auburn University in Alabama where he earned several All-SEC Honors in both track and cross country and was named a NCAA Div 1 All-American at 5000 meters in 1996.  

When asked about his opportunity to coach the Tri-West High School Girls and Boys Cross Country team, Mr. Rademacher shared, “ I am equally excited and humbled by this opportunity to work with the students, faculty and staff at Tri-West High School and look forward to the upcoming cross country season. We, as a team, will strive for success on the field of competition and in the classroom, learn from victory and from defeat, and use our shared experiences to become stronger athletes, students and citizens. 

Mr. Rademacher and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons and a daughter. Adin is a senior at Brownsburg, Jon is a freshman at Brownsburg, and Jenna is a 7th grader at Brownsburg East MS.
